Iran's President Pezeshkian says Tehran backs any understanding that boosts unity among Islamic states

[IRNA] Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stressed on October 26 the need to strengthen unity and rapprochement among Islamic countries, according to the Islamic Republic News Agency. He said Iran, based on firm belief and serious will, is ready to press ahead with deepening regional cooperation, settling disputes and drawing on the shared potential of Islamic states, and supports any understanding that would enhance unity, cohesion, security and development in the region.
