Iran's Ayatollah Nouri Hamedani criticizes death sentences against scholars in region

[IRNA] Religious authority Ayatollah Hossein Nouri Hamedani, in a letter, criticized prison and death sentences handed down against some scholars in countries of the region, IRNA reported. He said any action against scholars who seek to defend religious beliefs and the rights of their peoples is condemnable.
