Iran's Ayatollah Nouri Hamedani condemns prison, death sentences against scholars in region

[Mehr] Prominent Iranian religious authority Ayatollah Hossein Nouri Hamedani condemned prison and death sentences issued against a number of scholars in countries in the region, calling for an end to such practices and urging those countries' rulers to stand with the scholars in their struggle against "global arrogance" and Zionism, according to Mehr News Agency.
