Iran posthumously awards major general rank to late intelligence official Mohammad Saleh Asadi

[Mehr] According to Mehr News Agency, on October 26, 2026, with the approval of the Commander-in-Chief of the Iranian Armed Forces, Supreme Leader Khamenei, Major General Abdollahi presented the rank of major general to the family of the late Mohammad Saleh Asadi. Asadi had previously served as deputy for intelligence at the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters.
