Iran envoy to Turkmenistan says Ashgabat is Tehran's gateway to Central Asia

[IRNA] Iran's ambassador to Turkmenistan, Ali Mojtaba Rouzbehani, said strengthening road and rail transport, activating the China-Kazakhstan-Turkmenistan-Iran route, developing the Ashgabat Agreement corridor and enhancing the multimodal transport system are at the top of the two countries' joint agenda. He described Ashgabat as Tehran's gateway to Central Asia, according to IRNA.
