Iranian oil exports bypass sanctions via China's Shandong 'teapot' refineries

[Attaqa] Iranian oil exports to small Chinese refineries have grown notably, driven by discounted prices that let these plants profit in a highly competitive fuel market, according to Attaqa. Independent refiners in China's Shandong province, known as "teapot" refineries, have become among the largest buyers of Iranian oil, receiving between 80% and 90% of the shipments, the report said.
