Iran officials say Tehran will not wait for first strike, will not give up strategic rights

[Mehr] Iran's Supreme National Security Council secretary Mohsen Rezaei and Armed Forces General Staff chief Ali Abdollahi said Iran remains committed to strengthening deterrence and preserving its nuclear rights and strategic interests in the Strait of Hormuz, while continuing the diplomatic track and regional dialogue, according to Mehr. Rezaei said Iran will not wait for a first strike and will not retreat from its strategic rights.
