Iraqi Coordination Framework MP warns of US interference in internal affairs

[Mehr] According to a Mehr News report dated October 26, 2026, Iraqi Coordination Framework MP Shakir al-Tamimi warned that day of the danger of continued blatant US interference in Iraq's internal affairs. Al-Tamimi said that although Washington has announced the withdrawal of its combat forces, it is still exercising guardianship and intervening in national decision-making, which constitutes a blatant violation of Iraq's sovereignty and constitutional independence.
