Syria says it is releasing 57 detainees transferred from Lebanon under prisoner transfer agreement

[半岛电视台] Syria's Justice Ministry announced it has begun procedures to release 57 Syrian detainees who were transferred from Lebanon, according to Al Jazeera. The ministry said the move is being carried out under the agreement on the transfer of convicted persons and Lebanon's General Amnesty Law No. 70 of 2026.
