Equinor, Aker BP sign deal targeting 2.8 billion barrels of oil equivalent in Norway

[Attaqa] Norway's Equinor and Aker BP have signed an exploration and development deal aimed at developing hard-to-recover oil and gas discoveries on the Norwegian continental shelf, according to energy platform Attaqa. The two companies will work together to accelerate development of tight rock reservoirs and raise recovery rates from hydrocarbon resources on the shelf, the report said. The report cited 2.8 billion barrels of oil equivalent in connection with the deal.
