Masdar begins construction of 200MW Chereh Dam floating solar project in Malaysia

[WAM] Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company PJSC (Masdar), Citaglobal Berhad and TIZA Global Sdn Bhd marked the start of construction of the 200-megawatt Chereh Dam Floating Solar PV Project with a groundbreaking ceremony in Pahang, Malaysia, on 29 October 2026, according to WAM. The project is one of Southeast Asia's largest floating solar projects, WAM said. Chereh Solar Sdn Bhd, the partners' project company, is developing the project.
