Lebanon water agencies face power cut risk from November 2, Attaqa reports

[Attaqa] Concerns are rising that electricity supply to water agencies in Lebanon could be cut starting Monday, November 2, 2026, amid a continuing crisis over accumulated financial arrears owed by public institutions and the possibility of new measures against entities late in paying their bills, according to Attaqa. The concerns follow a decision by Electricité du Liban to halt supply, Attaqa reported.
