Kalshi raises $1 billion at $40 billion valuation

[The Information] Kalshi said it has raised $1 billion in funding at a $40 billion valuation, in a round led by Wellington and Sequoia, confirming an August report from The Information. Other investors in the round include Baillie Gifford, Andreessen Horowitz, Coatue and Morgan Stanley Investment, among others.
