QatarEnergy signs 20-year deal with Woodside for 3 mtpa of US LNG

[Attaqa] QatarEnergy has signed a long-term agreement with Woodside Energy to buy 3 million tonnes per annum of US liquefied natural gas from the Louisiana LNG project under construction on the US Gulf Coast, according to Attaqa. Deliveries are set to begin in 2030 and run for 20 years, subject to the delivery terms of the deal, the report said. Attaqa described the agreement as QatarEnergy's second major US LNG purchase deal within a week.
