[The Information] Artificial intelligence has thoroughly infiltrated business and politics, but it is also starting to divide companies and investors, according to leaders speaking at The Information's WTF Summit this week, a gathering of senior women in the technology and finance industries. Investors are increasingly picking AI winners and losers and favoring companies that can train models and control the chips and data centers underpinning them, said Kim Posnett, Goldman Sachs' global co-head of investment banking. "What you're seeing is not a change in AI sentiment," she said, but "a repositioning and differentiation across the AI trade."
