Egypt to carry out largest hydraulic fracturing operation in oil sector

[Attaqa] Egypt is preparing to carry out the largest multi-stage hydraulic fracturing operation in its oil sector, supporting efforts to raise oil and gas output, meet growing domestic demand and cut the import bill. According to a statement obtained by Attaqa, Badr El-Din Petroleum Company will conduct the operation at the Al-Abyad H18 horizontal well in the Western Desert, part of efforts to improve the efficiency of existing wells and boost capacity.
